Market Samurai was my keyword tool of choice but these days it has been really slow so I thought I would post some alternatives:

Long Tail Pro
Micro Niche Finder
Traffic Travis
Ultimate Niche Finder
Powersuite
Niche Finder

I am testing UNF and have found it fast. I can easily find new kwds meeting my needs. However, I do then take them over to MS for further analysis and always double check in adwords tool and search. But for going through 10000 words it is so quick.

Long Tail Pro has had positive recommendations but with only a $10 discount I decided against.
Powersuite is expensive and for me one for the future when I have cash to burn.

Anyone tried anything other than MS?

My keyword tool of choice these days is SECockpit. It is a paid service though at $99/month, but if you purchase a 6-month license it comes out to I think about $65/month.

A little pricey, but if you have to do keyword research on any sort of large scale (ie if you plan on building a ton of micro-niche sites etc) it is definitely the way to go. It allows you to basically analyze the SEO Competition of 1,000s of keywords in a matter of minutes. When I first got the software I cross-referenced the SEO Competition results with Market Samurai and it was spot on.

SECockpit is a lot faster than Market Samurai and I highly recommend it if you can afford it. If you value your time even just a little bit, you'll definitely want to use it for all your keyword research. Saves me A TON OF TIME, and it will for you too. You can Visit The SECockpit Website Here
